That’s how Elevate was born
In 2020, after returning from New York, Andrea opened her first Open Classes in a small room in her neighborhood. These two-hour contemporary dance workshops were designed as a space for exploration and in-depth technical study. Initially, they were small groups of three or four people.
What began as a personal artistic need grew organically into a strong community.
Shortly after, she launched the Technical Foundation classes, an innovative concept at the time within the open class format in Barcelona. In a context where this type of structure was not yet widespread, especially in technical dance, Andrea was one of the first to commit to opening regular and accessible spaces dedicated exclusively to technical work.
Over the years, the project took shape, solidifying its methodology and identity. And in 2025, Elevate Dance Space was officially born as a brand: the natural evolution of a process that had been developing since 2020.
Today, Elevate represents the culmination of its entire trajectory: international training, technical rigor, artistic research, pedagogical experience, and a clear vision of how dance should be experienced—with professionalism, depth, and enjoyment.
